Mighty One Man Band’s debut album has been unleashed to the world. The epic and eclectic, pop-rock project features eleven songs exploring various personal and universal themes that are positive in tone while still pushing Mighty One Man Band’s musical boundaries.
Two of the songs, “Insurgency” and “Freedom”, are inspired by Mighty One Man Band’s personal story about growing up during the brutal Suharto dictatorship in Indonesia, and they are relevant to anyone out there yearning for freedom. Another song, “The Ride”, is a piece Mighty One Man Band wrote that depicts space-travel imageries and metaphors that can be relatable as well to anyone’s journey in life. Other songs have relatable themes for humanity as well; and all songs from the album can grab you with their massive hooks.
Just as the verbatim artist name, Mighty One Man Band sings and plays every musical instruments completely by himself; and during live performances, he even does it all simultaneously. All music from the album is also composed, arranged and produced by the man himself. In other words, Mighty One Man Band may be considered as a forward-thinking, samurai singer-songwriter and a multi-instrumentalist on a “super-heroic” level. Would you agree with that statement?
